Company Overview:
We are a family-owned and operated, growing company located in Lakemoor, IL. Our team-oriented culture values hard work, dedication, and continuous improvement. As we expand, we're looking for an experienced Payroll Associate to join our administrative team and support essential accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage weekly payroll in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Utilize the Illinois Department of Labor website for reporting and compliance tasks
  • Assist with service billing and invoice generation
  • Generate reports and transcripts as required for management and audits
  • Work within Sage 300 (Timberline) accounting software
  • Support financial processes and documentation for union construction projects (knowledge highly preferred)
  • Navigate and operate various web platforms with ease
  • Maintain organized records and uphold data accuracy
  • Support internal audits, year-end reporting, and general accounting functions
Qualifications:
  • Prior payroll experience required; construction or union payroll is a major plus
  • Proficient with Sage 300 (Timberline)
  • Solid knowledge of AP, billing, and general accounting practices
  • Strong familiarity with the Illinois Department of Labor website
  • Computer savvy and confident using multiple web-based systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and maintains a strong work ethic
Compensation & Benefits (Upon Permanent Hire):
